Frustration

Just so you don't think that I am totally a flake and forgot about putting the video of Keeli's soccer game. I tried, really I did. My camcorder is not compatible with Vista. Of course not. Just about par for the course lately. Honestly, it seems if it isn't one thing, it's another. Kayti is really griping about school. Yes, she realizes there are only 6 days left...Yay...happy dance here. But this year has really driven her over the edge. I am praying with all I have that next year will be better for her. Any extra prayers that any one can muster for us would be greatly appreciated!
THEN, we went to turn on our air conditioning the other week when we had a spell of pretty warm weather. Funny, it never cooled off. Let me just say that this A/C unit is only three years old. We bought it when we moved into this house. In that time, this will be the second time that something has gone wrong with it and we need to have it fixed. Last time, it was *just* over the warranty time, so the installers agreed to fix it at no charge. This time, the part is under warranty, but the manufacturer will not cover the labor to fix it. Great. Now I have a $500+ bill. Oh, not only that, but it will take 2-3 weeks to get the @#@#$% part in. I hope that the weather does not turn hot all the sudden. Thankfully, as far as weather goes, it is been actually kind of cool. Our temps have only been in the 70's lately. I guess that is one tally mark for the good things side.
My car needs some engine repair. Sean has to tear down the motor to see how extensive this repair is going to be. More bills there...but he does have the knowledge to be able to do that himself. One tally mark for bad, one tally mark for good. We also have a third car that I am able to drive so that I am not stuck in the house with the girls until the car is fixed. Another tally mark for good.
Kayti is finally starting to feel like herself again. She was recovering from about 3 viruses all at the same time. It was not good. She never had a chance to fully recover from one before another came on. She had to go to dance practice and competitions while feeling like death warmed over. One tally mark for good.
I guess things could be worse. We are healthy (now that Kayti is feeling better), we have each other and school is almost over. Sean's job (while lacking in the overtime lately) is pretty secure. Three more tally marks for good!

I'm glad Kayti is feeling better. Whatever that was going around was pretty brutal!!
Neil had a GREAT first year of school, but he too is ready for summer vacation. I'll be thinking good thoughts for her going into the summer and next school year.
