I know....

I know I promised a video of Keeli's first soccer game, but if you had been here for it, you would understand how that didn't happen. HOLY COW it was FREEZING! It took all I had to stay warm, let alone trying to video the game. Kayti was out 2 hours earlier in that cold, wet weather refereeing another game. Funny thing about that. I told her earlier before she left that it was COLD out and she needed to dress warmly. Kayti is at that age where mom doesn't know anything. Remember that age, everyone? Anyway, she leaves the house in her Twilight sweatshirt..that's it. About a half hour later she texted me telling me how cold she is. Hmm....do ya think? Mean mommy that I am, I did make her suffer a little bit until we headed out to Keeli's game before I brought her a hat, mittens and some hot chocolate. Sean had given her his heavy jacket when he left to head back home to pick me and Keeli up. She was still without a heavy coat for about an hour. Hopefully that impressed upon her that I *do* know what I am talking about. At least once in a while...
This week hasn't been good. My desktop computer crashed. You don't realize how dependent you become on your computer. I do have a laptop too, so it isn't like I am totally without. All the stuff that I had saved on my computer, but didn't have the foresight to back up, is gone. Getting used to the laptop has been interesting. I am not used to typing on this thing and it has Vista and not XP like I have gotten used to. My darling brother is going to see what he can do to try and fix it for me.
The weather here has been so lousy. Now, I love rain, I love the wind, but I am so ready for some warm temps. Here it is the middle of April and we have a high today of MAYBE 45. GRRRRRRR. This weekend should be nicer, so I will bring out that camera and tape Keeli in action.
35 days of school left. Kayti, Keeli and I are all counting the days, no wait; we are counting the minutes!!

I'm sure that "I know all" attitude is something I have to look forward to. :) Actually I've already had a taste of it at the tender age of 5. :) And I'm with ya on the weather thing....I love the rain in the spring but What the heck!...lol (totally a Utah saying I use all the time now..lol)And I get ya on the Vista thing...I just got it installed instead of XP and it is WAY different. That sucks that you lost so much on your computer. I know how that goes.
It's great that your girls are so active! They sound like great girls!
