He actually did it!!

Sean has been going back and forth about whether to get braces for his teeth. For the longest time, he said no. They were for kids, he didn't want to deal with it, yadda yadda yadda. About a month ago, he finally said to me that he was tired of the way they were and would I mind if he went ahead and got them. MEN...geesh. Off to the orthodontist for a consult we go. The ortho said that he has NEVER seen teeth like Sean's. Okay...so, for those of you that have seen Sean, can certainly understand where the doctor was coming from. At first thought, he said he was going to have to pull 6 teeth. UGH. Then he decided that he would try and see what he could do without pulling any teeth. That made Sean much happier. The doctor did say that even after braces, he will still have a very unique bite. Can't be more unique than it is now.

Anyway, yesterday Sean got his top braces on. I happen to like braces and I think they look totally cool. If I think I could get away with posting a picture, I would. Maybe I will try and convince him to pose for one to post. He is hoping with his lack of ability to eat anything solid lately, it will help with his snacking bad habit.

Kayti (after TONS of prep work...2.5 years worth!) is scheduled to have her braces on next month. After seeing how cool Sean's look, she is so excited she can't even stand it. Not to mention that her braces have been a long time waiting. She is already stressing over what colors to choose.

Now Keeli can't wait to visit the ortho. Uh...did I mention that for some reason my bank account is running thin? Can't figure that one out....

Good for him. I've been thinking about it for a long time too. But, getting my wisdom teeth out last year was so much fun, I'll need to wait a while for the next big thrill.
