king that it would take forever for me to be such and such an age. Nowadays, I look back and wonder where the time has gone. I can clearly remember things such as Sean and I dating, the girls' births, ect just like it was yesterday. I just got the girls school pictures back. Holy moly..they look so grown up. Next year Kayti will be in Jr. High. Although she is very excited over this, I am less than thrilled. MY BABY CAN NOT BE GOING INTO JR HIGH ALREADY. It isn't possible. I just had her last week...right? She is enjoying her comp dance team. They have been practicing really hard and Kayti has a couple of parts in the dance that she earned by knowing all that gymnastics. Nice to see that even though she doesn't do gymn any more, the things she learned will stay with her forever.Today is the last day of the first quarter at school. The girls' grades are stellar right now. They are happy at school this year (although they both have a few kids in their respective classes that drive them BUGGY!!) Hey, wouldn't be school if that didn't happen...
Keeli had her last soccer practice of the season...her
last game is this coming Saturday. It hasn't been a very winning season for them this time. Sean was approached by a competition coach at the end of practice who expressed interest in having Keeli try out for the comp team next Spring. He had seen her play last spring and again more recently. He would like her to be his goalie. ACK..it is for a U-11 team and she will barely be 9 when it starts. She is thinking that she might like to give it a shot. She really does love playing goalie and she is pretty good at it, too! Much better than I would be if I had people coming and kicking the ball straight at me! She is so tiny though. She looks dwarfed by the size of that net.Weather has been pretty nice here, which is good for me. I have a very hard time with the cold and dark in the winter. It makes me all the more appreciative of Spring when it finally arrives. Daylight savings hasn't even ended yet, and I am counting the days until March when it begins again.
Sean is doing well. He has been very busy with work and soccer. He is the assistant coach for Keeli's team (and might end up taking over as coach in the Spring) and is the referee coordinator. He schedules the refs for their games, makes sure all the games are covered and smooths over any ruffled feathers from any incidents that may have happened at a game. (Of course that NEVER happens in soccer...;))
All in all, life is good. Times are tough nowadays, but we stick together to weather it and always remember it could be worse.

it's about time!! Good to see an update from you - I can't believe how big the kids are getting either! To me, they will always look like they did when we moved to Stansbury, with Keeli and Marissa practically learning to walk in our yards...
WoW! So grown up, so fast.
